We would like to support the cause of Build Home in India and will interact with Habitat for Humanity to Build Homes in India. Visit India and join one of our 08 days Global Village Community Service Tours. Build home for the underprivileged and join the building activity in India along with visit to some of the best World Heritage Sites in India. Support Habitat for Humanity in India and the local community to Build Homes and provide house related services to low income underprivileged families. The Build Home program will include learning about needs of the area, experience the impact of your Build Home work along with members of the Habitat Community and Volunteers. We will also organize excursions to the local communities to explore the local culture with their traditional folk dances and handicrafts. Enjoy the feel of working on the build home sites and interact with families who will move in to their new homes build by Voluntourist like you. Your participation in this noble activity will make this world a better place and ensure a home for the underprivileged in India.

To participate in the Community Service Tours in India, We have designed four itineraries in the Build Home sites in India which are near Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore. Choose the site based on the availability of your dates. We have finalized the tour dates based on the favorable weather conditions in each of the Build Home sites. The expense of the Community Service Tours will include a program donation fee to Habitat for Humanity and the cost of the 08 days tour in India. The four options for Community Service Tours – Build Home in India are :

Build Home in Karjat (Near Mumbai) – 03 nights in Mumbai, 02 night/03 days Build Home in Karjat , 02 nights/03 days in Aurangabad. Visit Elephanta Caves, Ajanta & Ellora Caves – World Heritage Sites. Tour dates: 08-15 August 2020,29 August-05 September 2020, 14-21 November 2020, 21-28 November 2020, & 02-09 January 2021. Cost of Community Service Tour- Build Home in India – USD 1595. Program Donation Fee – USD 400.

Build Home in Bawana (Near Delhi)– 02 night in Delhi, 02 night/03 Days Build Home in India at Bawana, 03 nights – Delhi,Agra & Jaipur. Visit the Golden Triangle of India and enjoy the World Heritage Sites – Qutub Minar, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Amer Fort and Hawa Mahal. Tour Dates :11-18 July 2020, 22-29 August 2020, 26 December – 02 January 2021, 20-27 February 2021 & 13-20 March 2021.Cost of Community Service Tour -Build Home in India Program – USD 1495. Program Donation Fee – USD 400.

Build Home in Puducherry (Near Chennai) – 02 night/03 days in Chennai, 04 nights/05 days in Puducherry, 01 night/02 days in Mamallapuram Beach. Arrive in Chennai. Build Home in Puducherry. Enjoy the essence of French Culture in the spiritual beach town Puducherry. Meditate at the Maithiri Mandir in Auroville. Visit the World Heritage Sites – Shore Temple, Arjuna’s Penance , Five Rathas in Mamallapuram and sightseeing in Chennai. Tour Dates: 07-14 December 2020, 09-16 January 2021. Bangalore – 03 nights/04 days Build Home in Bangalore, 01 night Mysore and 03 night Kerala- God’s Own Country (Alleppey backwater cruise/ Thekkady Jungle Park/Cochin). Tour Dates: 02 – 09 November’2019 & 04-11 January’2020. Cost of Community Service Tour -Build Home in India Program – USD 1595. Program Donation Fee – USD 400.

Community Service Tour -Build Home in India Program will include: Accommodation in twin rooms in the 3* boutique & 4* hotels for 07 nights, All meals – Breakfast, light lunch and Dinner, 03 full days of Build Home in India with Habitat for Humanity, Transportation by private AC car/van, Services of English speaking guide for sightseeing with entry tickets to monuments, Two bottles of mineral water everyday & All Applicable taxes.

Program will not include: Expenses of personal nature like tips, phone calls, laundry, Portage etc, cost of international & domestic Airfares/ India Visa & Medical Insurance.

We need 10 – 15 volunteers in each group to organize the Community Service Tour -Build Home in India Program. We will extend the program by some more days as per your requirements of the volunteers.Tour dates can be flexible – Tailormade tours can be organized on a group size of 10+

Mission: To embrace any orphaned girl child in the 5 to 8 year age group, irrespective of her caste, colour, creed, or ethnicity, and to raise her as our own, providing food, shelter, clothing, education, healthcare and continue caring till she completes education and settles in life.

Objective: To care for orphaned girls between the ages of 5 and 8 and bring them up as our own to teach them social respect, imbibe cultural values and mould them into socially responsible citizens. They will be under our care until graduation, marriage or securing a job, whichever comes first.

CHINMAYA VIJAYA ORPHANAGE – CORD USA is an apolitical , non-government , all –girls Orphanage in Vijayawada, that was founded by our dear friends Dr. & Mrs A. Mukkamala as a tribute to their Guru who dedicated his entire life in the service to mankind.

Chinmaya Vijaya is specially committed to the care of orphaned and homeless girls in order to provide them with a family , a home, and a strong foundation to lead independent and secure life. The project has been made possible by a generous donation from their friends in India and USA. Today they are more than 200 orphan girls who stay at Chinmaya Vijaya as one family and are being educated and groomed to lead a great life.

Our sincere thanks to our friends Mukkamala’s for this beautiful gesture. We promise our endless association to work for this great cause. Many visitors to India who have taken our tours have extended their visit to Chinmaya Vijaya in South India and have spend two beautiful days with the children and have enjoyed the Mukkamala’s amazing hospitality.
